The South Sydney Rabbitohs play their rugby in Austalia's premier rugby league competition, the National Rugby League NRL. They are one of nine existing teams from the state capital. Formed in 1908 as one of the founding members of the New South Wales Rugby Football League makes them one of Australia's oldest rugby league teams. South Sydney are the most successful professional team in the history of the Australian rugby league in terms of total championships won, having claimed 21 first grade premierships. In addition to winning the most premierships, the Rabbitohs also hold the distinction of being the only club to win a premiership in their inaugural season.
Many experts predicted that the team would finish outside of the top 8 for the 2018 season but the team performed strongly finishing 3rd at the end of the regular season. For the 2019 season, they look to do even better. They have collaborated with ISC for their 2019 kit. South Sydney has used cardinal red and myrtle green colours on its playing jerseys for the majority of the club's history.
Sticking with tradition this singlet uses red and green, it does however use black as a base colour with subtle red and green stripes across the torso as is the theme in this range. The ISC logo is on the left of the shirt with the club badge across the middle of the vest. This lightweight singlet is made ISC's state of the art Airtex performance mesh which assists in wicking moisture away from the body to maximise comfort in even the hottest conditions. Garments are exactly as the players wear to training, day in and day out.
