These Terms and Conditions apply to the CANTERBURY ‘Win tickets to the British and Irish Lions vs Japan’ PRIZE DRAW Prize Draw (the "Prize Draw"). By entering into the Prize Draw entrants agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions:

1. The Competition opens and closes on the dates specified above. No entries shall be accepted before the Opening Date or after the Closing Date. Entries are limited to one (1) entry per person. Entries not in accordance with the entry instructions above are invalid.

2.The Prize Draw is open to persons aged eighteen (18) or over, who are residents of the United Kingdom, Isle of Man and Channel Islands. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries that are misdirected, lost, delayed, damaged or corrupted due to any computer malfunction, virus, bug delay or other reason whatsoever. The Prize Draw is specifically closed to employees of the Promoter, any associated companies, their families and anyone professionally involved in this promotion.

3. In order to enter the Prize Draw, entrants must follow the entry instructions specified above (the "Entry").

4. NO PURCHASE OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO TAKE PART IN THIS PRIZE DRAW.

5. There will be one (1) first Prize winner (the "Winner"). The prize is as set out above (collectively, the "Prizes")

6. Where the Prize is, or includes tickets to an event, the following conditions apply:

  1. i. If the Prize includes an additional ticket for a guest then both the Winner and guest must be aged 18 or above.
    Identification and proof of age will be required on the day of the game or event;

  2. ii. Unless specified above, the Winner and guest shall be responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from the game or event;

Unless specified above, the Prize does not include meals, accommodation, any other costs of a personal nature not stated all of which will be the sole responsibility of the winner and their guest;

  1. iii. Tickets are non-transferable. Winners will be required to provide proof of identity to claim any tickets. If the Winner losses the tickets they will not be given replacements.

  2. iv. Winner and any accompanying guest agree to comply with any terms and conditions applicable to the issue and use of the tickets from time to time, including those of any venue owner or operator.

  3. v. Prize winners are required to confirm acceptance of these terms and conditions and the relevant event ticket terms and conditions before the awarding of any prize. Failure to do so will result in the competition prize being reallocated to another individual. The Promoter reserves the right to nominate an alternate Winner if the Promoter determines in its sole discretion that the Winner does not comply with these terms and conditions and/or the relevant event ticket terms and conditions, or where the Promoter has reasonable grounds to believe the Winner will not comply with these terms and conditions and/or the relevant event ticket terms and conditions.

  4. vi. If the Winner is unable to take the prize, due to any illness or personal circumstance beyond the Winner’s or their guest’s control, the Winner must immediately notify the Promoter. The Promoter may, at its sole discretion, allow the Winner to nominate another person to whom the Prize can be transferred to and the Promoter will use all reasonable endeavours to transfer the Prize accordingly.  The Promoter will not be liable if any part of the Prize is unable to be transferred to the person nominated by the Winner.

7. Your Entry must not disparage the Promoter, or any other party affiliated with the Competition, nor infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party. This includes the use of third party copyright or a third party’s right of personality/publicity. Your Entry shall not feature any other person’s name, image or voice, reference products that compete with the Promoter products or comprise of words or photographs which are obscene or vulgar, offensive, abusive, harmful, threatening, libellous, defamatory, invasive of another’s privacy, sexually or racially or ethically or religiously insulting, harassing, profane or otherwise unlawful. The Promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to remove your Entry from the Canterbury website and the Promoter’s website and social media pages if it is in breach of these terms and conditions (including but not limited to any Entry requirements). The Promoter has the right to moderate any Entry before any Winners are selected.

8. The draw will be made by an independent person selected by the Promoter and such person and the Promoter’s decisions shall be final. No correspondence will be entered into.

9. The Winner for the Prize will be drawn on 17th June 2021 at random from all entries received. The Winner will be contacted by and confirmed by 21st June 2021 and will be given instructions on how to claim their Prize. If the Winner cannot be contacted by either telephone or email by 00:00 (GMT) 20th June 2021 the Promoter reserves the right to select another winner at random from the remaining eligible entries and thereafter until all winners are found.

12. Each Winner agrees not to sell, order to sell or use the Prize Draw or the Prize for any commercial or promotional purposes (including placing the Prize and any internet auction site). The Prize is non-transferable.

14. The Promoter reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions and/or cancel the Prize Draw at its sole discretion.

15. To the maximum extent permitted by law the Promoter and its related entities shall not be liable for any claims or actions of any kind whatsoever for damages or losses to persons or property which may be sustained in connection with receipt, ownership and/or use of the Prize(s).

16. By entering this Prize Draw entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. All entry instructions form part of these Terms and Conditions. English law governs this Prize Draw and each party submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

  2. 18. Negative Publicity: Winners and/or guests shall not, while using any [Castle Lager Lions

    Series 2021 / Vodafone Lions 1888 Cup] tickets, display or publicize any political slogans or homophobic language, images of a lewd or explicitly sexual nature, images containing logos of competitors and overt brand sponsorship or anything else deemed to be ambush marketing or an abuse of [The Castle Lager Lions Series 2021 / Vodafone Lions 1888 Cup],

    content which is defamatory, obscene, illegal, vulgar, offensive or otherwise unsuitable or infringes others’ rights (including intellectual property rights) or reflects negatively upon LTSA. Each entrant agrees and acknowledges that any breach of this clause shall cause significant damage and loss to LTSA.

  1. 19. Data Protection: By completing your details you are agreeing to receive emails from the

    Promoter unless you opt-out of such correspondence. Your information shall be securely stored in accordance with the Data Protection Act and the Promoter shall not share your details with anyone else.

  1. 20. Use of Data: The Promoter may pass personal information relating to prize winners to LTSA (and any of their service providers or agencies) for the purposes of monitoring the distribution and use of [Castle Lager Lions Series 2021 / Vodafone Lions 1888 Cup] tickets and related experiences and, in the event of a suspected breach of any terms and conditions, rules or regulations of LTSA relating to the use of such tickets and/or experiences, investigating and taking action against such winners.

  1. 21. Responsibility for Promotion: This promotion is run by the Promoter with the permission of LTSA. Accordingly the Promoter is responsible for the operation of and all matters and concerns relating to the promotion, not LTSA or any other persons involved in the staging of [The Castle Lager Lions Series 2021 / Vodafone Lions 1888 Cup], all of whom shall not be responsible for or liable to entrants in any way whatsoever in connection with this promotion.

  1. 22. Promoter’s Decision: The decision of the Promoter in all matters is final and binding and

    no correspondence shall be entered into.

  1. 23. Third Parties: The Promoter is not responsible for any third party acts or omissions.

  1. 24. Cancellation of Promotion: The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend this promotion due to events or circumstances arising beyond its control.

  1. 25. Unlawful Entries: Entrants must not be resident in a jurisdiction in which participation

    breaches any applicable laws.  By entering, the entrant warrants that he or she is permitted by law in the relevant jurisdiction to do so.

  1. 26. Severance: If any of these terms are determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable then the remaining terms shall continue in full force and effect.

  1. 27. Cancellation of event: If for any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter any:

    1. a. date of any rugby match specified in these terms and conditions is changed or any rugby match is indefinitely postponed or cancelled;

    2. b. rugby match is to be moved from any stadium specified in these terms and conditions;

    3. c. rugby match is to be played without spectators;

the Promoter will use all reasonable endeavours to make alternative arrangements to ensure that the Winner receives a prize of similar value similar to the original prize that he or she had won.

Publicity: By entering, Entrants agree to participate in reasonable publicity if they win including use of their name and image in online publicity, emails, or other print or social media.
