No longer the new boys on the international rugby stage, Italy have made significant progress over the years and have bridged the gap between them and their Northern Hemisphere counterparts.
Made by adidas, from 100% polyester, the Italy 2012/13 Home S/S Rugby Shirt has been released for the international season and 2013 Six Nations tournament.
As is befitting of the Azzurri, an elegant craft blue tone is applied across the jersey and sees the Italia badge elegantly stitched atop the left chest. For a classy look, the adidas logo is decorated in silver on the right chest whilst their signature three stripes run atop the sleeves in the same tone. To complete the look, the Cariparma sponsor is printed in white over the centre of the chest.
For optimum comfort and performance, this Italy rugby shirt employs adidas's innovative ClimaCool technology. This provides moisture management to help keep players and fans alike cool for when the action really starts to heat up.
As a subtle yet fine finishing touch, the Italian flag is embroidered onto the back of the collar.
