No longer the new boys on the international rugby stage, Italy have made significant progress over the years and have bridged the gap between them and their Northern Hemisphere counterparts.
Made by adidas, from 60% cotton and 40% polyester, the Italy 2012/13 Hooded Rugby Sweatshirt has been released as part of the Azzurri's new clothing collection.
From a practical perspective, the drawstring hood can be used for fashion purposes or simply to help protect you against the elements. The inclusion of a pouch over the front also provides a place to keep your hands warm or simply store any items. To provide a snug and comfortable fit, the elasticated ribbed cuffs and waistband complete the look.
For that all-important Italian look, the sweatshirt is given the traditional blue tone with a touch of class applied by way of adidas's three stripes decorated in silver running atop the shoulders and sleeves. The front of the sweatshirt sports 'Italia' in a distressed white print whilst the Italian badge and adidas branding feature on the upper chest.
