Relative newcomers to the Super Rugby format, the Western Force have made significant progress since struggling early on. Attracting some of the largest crowds amongst Australian rugby union teams, since their inception the Force have generated a loyal following as the nation’s most western team.
Made by ISC, from 100% polyester, the Western Force Home Rugby Shirt was released for the 2012 Super 15 season.
On the left chest, the embroidered black swan represents the western state’s traditional insignia. Set on a blue background, this relates to the Western Australia sky and coastline whilst the gold Western Force writing represents the beaches, mineral wealth and sunshine.
Across the chest, the Fly Emirates sponsor is printed whilst on the reverse Bankwest is positioned just below the collar. Taking up position on the sleeves, on the right side is the Super Rugby printed logo whilst on the left is ET Mining.
Western Force feature international star players, including the likes of Australian David Pocock and Fijian winger Napolioni Nalaga.
