Making their debut in the 2011 season, the Melbourne Rebels have already attracted a loyal following and are the first privately owned professional rugby union team in Australia.
Made by Kooga, from 100% polyester, the Melbourne Rebels Home Rugby Shirt was released for the 2012 Super 15 season. The Rebels logo is embroidered onto the left chest whilst the RaboDirect sponsor features across the centre and on the reverse. As an additional touch, the Super Rugby badge features on the right side.
For a truly unique touch, five stars stretch down from the collar and represent the teams five pledges spelling out REBEL: Respect, Excellence, Balance, Ethos and Leadership.
Although a fledgling side, the Melbourne Rebels is home to star players including James O'Connor, Kurtley Beale, Stirling Mortlock and Gareth Delve.
