Making their debut in the 2011 season, the Melbourne Rebels have already attracted a loyal following and are the first privately owned professional rugby union team in Australia.
Made by BLK, from 100% polyester, the Melbourne Rebels 2013 Alternate Super 15 Rugby Shirt has been released for the new season.
The Rebels logo is embroidered onto the left chest whilst the sublimated RaboDirect sponsor features across the centre and on the reverse. As an additional touch, the Super Rugby badge features on the right side. Inspired by the colours of the Australia flag, a predominantly white offering across the front, back and sleeves is joined by navy across the upper chest and running down the sides.
For a truly unique touch, five stars stretch down from the collar and represent the teams five pledges spelling out REBEL: Respect, Excellence, Balance, Ethos and Leadership.
Although a fledgling side, the Melbourne Rebels is home to star players including James O'Connor, Kurtley Beale and Gareth Delve.
