Made by adidas, from 100% polyester, the British & Irish Lions 2013 Infant Rugby Mini Kit is a replica mini version of the one as worn by the players as the embark on their historic tour of Australia.
In keeping with a traditional appearance, the famous university red tone is applied across the jersey and sees the Lions badge taking pride of place atop the left chest. Adidas's logo adorns the right side of the chest whilst their signature three stripes take on a white tone atop the shoulder and sleeves. To compete the look, the HSBC sponsor decorates the centre of the chest.
Creating a classic look, high on heritage value, the replica Lions rugby shirt incorporates a v-neck collar including poppers off the right shoulder for easy access when pulling on and off. As a subtle finishing touch, the back of the neck is proudly decorated by a small gold badge celebrating the 125th anniversary tour.
Moving down the kit and the shorts are a plain white offering complemented by the famous adidas three stripes decorated in collegiate navy down the outside of each leg. The front of the shorts sees the Lions badge decorating the right leg and the adidas logo on the left side whilst the HSBC sponsor completes the look.
From a practical perspective, the elasticated waistband ensures the perfect fit for infants whilst the polyester material delivers a lightweight fit combined with freedom of movement.
