This minimalist design is delivered courtesy of a strong yet soft Premium Teijin microfibre upper which wraps effortlessly around your foot and ensures unsurpassed comfort.
As is now customary with the top end Nike models, these rugby boots incorporate Nike's innovative All Conditions Control (ACC). Created to aid the grip between the boot and ball, this provides enhanced performance control in all conditions making for ideal wear throughout the season.
Across the midsole and the contoured, perforated sockliner provides low-profile cushioning whilst helping to reduce stud pressure for enhanced performance. Continuing across the boot and the attention to detail has been incorporated in every aspect of this Mercurial Vapor IX. Inspired by track spikes, the forefoot grip zone is a subtle addition which provides vital toe-off traction for that all-important injection of speed.
Reinforced moulded studs of varying length ensure light work is made of natural firm surfaces. The full length chassis combines two layers of glass-fibre composite to help reduce stud pressure whilst providing instant support and stability.
Bucking the trend of their recent colourful and eye-catching designs, this latest release takes on a more sedate yet equally impressive metallic platinum tone. Understandably Nike couldn't completely resist a touch of vibrancy which is included by way of their branding sported in hot lime on the inside ankle whilst the signature Swoosh finishes off proceedings with a classy black look wrapped around the front.
