When you are responsible for control of the game, then you need a boot you can rely on and dictate the tempo. The Nike CTR360 Maestri III FG Rugby Boot lets you take that control.
Using previous models as a template, the CTR360 introduces a wealth of new features aimed at enhancing control, support, traction and comfort. This is achieved through the introduction of a Kanga-Lite II synthetic upper with ACC technology, a 3D control pad and a responsive sole plate.
The soft and lightweight Kanga-Lite II synthetic upper is equipped with All Conditions Control (ACC) which aids the grip between the boot and ball for high performance control in all conditions. As part of the surface, small indents have been incorporated to maximise ball contact for accurate passing and control.
Another significant overhaul of the CTR360 Maestri III relates to the new instep. This is where Nike have placed their innovative 3D control pad to hug the arch and maximise ball contact for precise receiving and passing accuracy.
A subtle, but functional touch, regards the lacing system which has been deliberately positioned slightly off centre. This follows the direction of the 3D control pad and enhances the outside to generate a more delicate touch.
The FG sole plate features a series of strategically positioned blades and has been engineered to make light work of firm natural surfaces. Three separate plates across the forefoot ensure optimum power and traction in your play whilst four blades across the heel deliver all-important stability. Taking control has never been so easy, no matter where you position on the field.
As a final practical touch, the EVA sockliner has foam PORON inserts for added cushioning and reduced stud pressure. This aims to improve the comfort of the boot and allow you to perform to your maximum potential with more ease.
Never ones to disappoint when it comes to inventing striking new colour ways, the CTR360 Maestri III FG is certainly a vibrant offering even by Nike's standards. A bright citrus tone characterises this latest design and sits aside a more understated black for a distinct two-tone effect.
