The classic Adidas rugby boot has been reinvented with the release of the Adidas AdiPure Flanker Wide Fit SG Rugby Boot.
Everything about this boot has been designed with the needs of rugby players taken into account. The extra wide fit on the upper has been made from a new Super League Leather which is a tougher leather to help provide more forefoot support for scrum play. This new leather helps prevent boot deformation and stretching resulting in the shape being retained for longer whilst also moulding quickly to the players foot.
For increased comfort, Adidas have added Synthetic Print on the heel lining which also prevents heel slippage and makes the boot easier to break-in.
Taking guidance from their professional sponsored players, Adidas have made this boot 12% lighter than their previous model without sacrificing quality or performance.
With an eight stud configuration, six studs at the forefoot and two on the heel, the screw-in studs generate excellent grip on soft natural surfaces and can also be interchanged for various stud lengths depending on conditions.
A dynamic black, red and white offering, the trademark Adidas three stripes adorn each side of the boots whilst the Adidas logo is stitched onto the fold-over tongue.
This is the rugby boot as worn by the likes of All Blacks Ali Williams, Keven Mealamu and Tony Woodcock along with Ireland's Paul O'Connell and Scotland's Ritchie Gray.
