Good looks, great features, light weight and a brain create the perfect model; of rugby boots that is. The adidas adiZero XTRX SG Sprintskin Rugby Boots have been unleashed and ready to take the rugby world by storm.
This F50 adiZero XTRX SG Rugby Boot has a lightweight Sprintskin upper, ensuring a snug and light feel (198g, UK size 8) as they contour to your foot for a better fit. Taking technology a step further and the upper area also incorporates adidas patented Sprintweb for excellent stability in high speed moves and the addition of an abrasion resistant kicking-zone.
Adidas have gone out of their way developing this boot to ensure maximum comfort and fit from heel to toe and anywhere else you can think of. To begin with the variable width lacing system is off centre and follows the natural contour of the foot to provide a better anatomical fit and feel to the F50 adiZero XTRX. This is backed up by an independent movable tongue providing a better fit with two slits at the top of the tongue producing a customized fit for any foot size. Even the interior heel is constructed with a lining of plush foam underneath to provide protection and maximise comfort.
At home on soft natural surfaces, the F50 features a hybrid combination of moulded conical and bladed studs to ensure optimum traction and high performance in training and match conditions.
Embracing a traditional look to this latest design, a timeless black upper sits aside a distinct green zest tone running off the heel and down the sides. In keeping with a classy appearance, the iconic adidas three stripes retain a white appearance but with thin stripes of black added to continue the overall theme. The three bold colours continue across the sole as the green and black tipped studs sit elegantly atop a fresh white backing.
Compatible with the adidas miCoach chip which fits discreetly beneath the inner sole, not included with this boot but available to purchase separately, your boots now have the ability to report back on all your progress in training and match environments. Time, speed, distance, speed zones and number of sprints are all recorded and can be monitored by simply connecting the miCoach chip to your PC or iPhone. There’s nowhere to hide now as your every move is monitored.
